Sri Lanka has the most active nightlife in the entire South Asia. Unlike most countries in this region of Asia, alcohol and casinos are allowed in Sri Lanka. Curfew time is also non-existent. The nightly entertainments are open from dusk ‘til dawn in this country.
Some of the most popular places are Blue Elephant, Echelon Pub, and Karaoke Bar and Thorana Lounge. Along Galadahari Hotel, Colombo 2000 may be found. Karaoke Lounge and Lobby Bar is also there. For head bangers, there are also joints that offer all night rock music, like Rock Café at Ananda.
