Like most countries, the culture of Sri Lanka is a product of its past. It mostly reflects the religion, customs and traditions, and ways of life of the Dutch, Portuguese, and the British. The country's music is mostly Buddhist and Portuguese. Arts and crafts are also Buddhist in nature. The festivals on the other hand, are similar to nearby countries'. For example, the Diwali Festival, which ic also a celebration in India. Another one is the Buddhist Festival, and a third is the Muslim festival.
