Barong Tagalog - "the national wear of the Filipino male, it is a topwear traditionally made with pineapple (pinya) threads."

If you happen to be in Sorsogon, try visiting Pilar’s Egret Sanctuary. It’s a garden of around 300 mangrove trees that serve as the home of about a thousand egrets. The best time to be there is early in the morning or before sunset as the waters around the mangroves mirror the kaleidoscopic colors in the sky. The birds are so exciting to look at as they do their somersaults and fill the treetops as if they are the trees’ leaves.
