Wonderful rock formations and sunset

Cruising the sea from Masbate to Sorsogon (or vice versa) through a paddle boat, a motorized boat or a speedboat is the best way to see the rock formations in between the two islands. These rock formations come in many different shapes. One is shaped like a lion’s head, another is a natural arch, while another one looks like a castle. You can book for a passenger cruise from the main port of Masbate or Sorsogon. The trip usually costs P250 per person (one way) and takes 30 to 45 minutes for speedboats, 45 minutes to an hour and a half for motorized boats, and two to three hours for paddle boats. The best time to hop from Masbate to Sorsogon (or vice versa) is on an early morning or late afternoon, when the heat no longer pricks the skin and the clouds and the waters can be seen in their richest hues. Late afternoons are also perfect to see the sunset.
