Dealing with street beggars

The streets are almost always full of persistent beggars. Some of them stay in one place while some actually roam around and try to catch attention by knocking on vehicles' windshields or poke you in the arm. Giving them spare change is not a bad thing, though there is a possibility that more beggars would be asking for money. Turning them away in a polite manner should keep them at bay.
