The best time to be in Oman is of course not during the summer. Unless there's a desire to wallow in sweat, better be there in the months of November and mid March. During these months the country is cooler, with temperature averaging to 25 degrees Celsius. Outdoor activities like wadi-bashing or desert adventure are best enjoyed during this season.
