The same with other countries, entering Kyrgyzstan requires a visa. However, citizens of countries namely, Azerbaijan Republic, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Byelorussia, Georgia, Republic of Kazakhstan, and Korean Democratic People`s Republic may enter without visa. People from the Republic of Cuba, Malaysia, Republic of Moldova, Mongolia, Russian Federation, Socialistic Republic of Vietnam, Republic of Tajikistan, Turkish Republic (up to one month), Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Japan are also exempted from mandatory visa. Nationals of countries without exemption may apply for the necessary document to the nearest Embassy or Consulate in their country.
Generally, the necessary papers for a Kyrgyz visa application are a passport with at least six months validity and free visa pages, one fully-filled out application form, one passport-size photo, and a visa fee which is collected upon issuance of the visa. After filing these requisites, applicants may spend a few days planning their trip until finally being handed the stamp.
