The cute little yurts (kyrgyz hut), the chygdak (ornamented mat), and the toshok (narrow quilts), proofs of the originality and uniqueness of the Kyrgyz culture. The country may not be one of the most popular and well-developed but is truly enviable for its people's conviction that their nomadic life was a gift from god. They have horses and sheep for pets, milk for water, and tents for homes. Though in constant motion, these people kept their positivity. Important celebrations like Felt Festival, Birds of Prey Festival, and the annual Clean up at Son Kul are still marked in their calendars. Even in everyday life, games like horse racing is played.
