Though resembling the great Las Vegas in the US, the nightlife in Egypt is not as noisy and crowded. Yes, there are palms, dates, pyramids and the sphinx but they are not casino decors. There are however casinos in other areas in the country. Mostly in hotels and cruise ships that take tourists along the great Nile River.
The popular casinos include Al Karnak and Casino el Gaheed in Cairo, El Salamlek in Alexandria, and Caesar's in Giza. These are only few of the people-swarmed game places. Aside from these there are also bars and discos for youths who love to groove ‘til the sun goes up. There is the Mojito, which is a penthouse club, open-air and spacious dance floor. Redundant as it may sound, the Tavern Bar is also a magnet not only for locals and expats but also for tourists visiting Egypt. This place is loud, very active, a place meant only for having fun. For good prices and friendly service, the best place would be the King's Head Bar. And not to forget the famous Galaya, a luxury ship sweeping the Nile. It houses bars, casinos, and restaurants in its buoyant body.
