There is not a definite best time to be in Tibet because anytime can be a good time. But basing on the weather as well as the sites to be seen in the country, the best time is during spring, early summer, and late autumn. Though the country starts to tighten security during this period, tourists with sufficient documentations are very much welcome. They may bask under good weather, take advantage of the discounts on accommodations as well as vehicle rentals, and climb the great Mt. Everest without the worry of avalanche or any bad-weather related accidents.
