Taiwan is a good country to visit because of its tropical climate. However, this same climate can sometimes pose as a travel threat. Tourists especially those coming from colder countries should note that the country may become too hot and humid. Water should be drunk regularly and must always be at hand. This is to prevent dehydration and other illness that lack of body water supply may cause.
Another matter that prospective Taiwan tourists should be forewarned about is the traffic in the cities. This does not pertain to the slow movement of cars. In fact, the vehicle in Taiwan move so fast that it merely crossing the street takes skill. Tourists should be careful of being run over by racing automobiles.
Aside from the raging vehicles, raging typhoons also threatens a good trip. Incoming travelers are advised to be prepared for strong typhoons that occur sometimes consecutively in the country. It is best to pack some rain gear just in case.
