Though a non-alcoholic country, Qatar has its own share of bars, drinking pubs and discos. In huge hotels, liquor may be availed. The same goes with local pubs. But beyond these places, alcohol is prohibited. This law is entailed by other strict rules that makes the nightlife alive yet disciplined and in a way restrained. Nevertheless, people still have fun.
The list of widely-visited areas at night is composed of Admirals Club in Ritz-Carlton, the in-house bars of Sheraton and Marriot Hotels, Paloma, Cloud Nyn, Qube, and the Pearl. These places are commonly swarmed by locals and expats and usually explored by tourists. Most of these served good music, and ice-cold drinks.
