Morocco Nightlife |
Although not as grand as that of countries in the Western continents, the nightlife in Morocco is worthy to be tried as it is unique and somehow historical. The nightlife in this country is not only limited to bars and clubs that served drinks, or to restaurants and cafes that give places to lounge. Instead, nightlife in Morocco includes ancient Arab nightlife characterized by men sitting around on cushions and watching female entertainers belly dance their way into the men's pockets.
In Marrakech, joints that sell alcohol and have belly-dancing shows line the streets. There is Gueliz and Hivernage. There is also Paradise at Hotel Pullman Mansour. Agadir is also a happening place, as well as Casablanca, and Rick's Bar at Hotel Hyatt. These joints have entertainment that range from live music, house and techno sounds, as well as belly-dancing shows for the men who want to pretend they are part of the Arabian Nights tale.
