Smack in the middle of Africa and the Middle East, plus colonized partly by France and Spain, Morocco's culture has become a combination of many other culture. There are customs and traditions derived from the original settlers, the Berbers. There are also some from the Moors and Sub-saharan Africans. There are other people who have Arab features while others have the attributes of a common African.
Because of the variations in the roots, religion also varies for each group. However, the major religion is Islam. The language is also distinct. The most commonly used is Classical Arabic, but there are also Berber and French speakers. The distinction in language is not only limited to oral sharing. Even the literature of the country comes in more than one version for the benefit of most tribes.
Past the language and the religion, Morocco also has its own National costume, which like most Arab countries, covers the men and women from head to foot. However, it comes in bright colors with different patterns which are unlike that of the national outfit of Saudi Arabia.
These variations in the many aspects of culture made the already colorful culture even more rich and vibrant. Thus pushing Morocco to the list of the best places to experience.
