To those who fancy colored gems, you can head to Ilakaka region of Madagascar where this precious sapphire are sold. However, beware of the fake vendors lurking in the streets who might urge you to buy their “authentic” sapphire stones.
Head to the Quartz House, which is located in the center of the town of Antsirabe if you wish to buy the genuine sapphire.
