Perhaps due to the richness of the country, tourism in Madagascar is not as easy. All passport holders are required to have visa before entering the country. Thus application for the document must be done prior to entry.
The necessary documents include a passport with at least six months validity and free visa pages, an original airline ticket, a fully-filled out application form, two passport-type photos, and a visa fee. These papers must be submitted to the nearest embassy or consulate in the applicant's home country. Upon submission, it would need a few days to be processed. After about two days the visa applied for will be issued and the planned Madagascar experience may be pursued.
