Just atop the world's equator, the climate in Indonesia is divided only into two, the wet and dry season. Wet season usually begins in October and ends in April. On the other hand, the dry season begins in May and ends in September. Unlike some tropical countries, rain can pour nonstop for days in Indonesia. These torrential rains can cause flooding in some areas of the country.
