Who can enter Ecuador even without visa?
People of whatever nationality may enter the country even without visa. The country gives up to 90 days permitted stay. Beyond this length of stay, the visitor would need to present a visa.
How to apply
Travelers who wish to enter Ecuador and stay for more than 90 days may apply for visa to the nearest Ecuadorian embassy or consulate. A number of documents would need to be submitted before the application can be processed.
Necessary documents
The documents required when applying for a visa to Ecuador include a completed application form, a valid passport, return or onward ticket, and proof of sufficient funds. A visa fee needs to be paid as well.
Issuance
Upon submitting the required documents, the visa will be processed then issued usually on the same day. This issued document will be valid for up to one year from the date of issuance.
