Dominica Nightlife |
As other Caribbean islands Dominica has its own way of spending the hours between night and daybreak. It has its own nightlife establishments which boast not of good food and drinks but also of excellent entertainment.
The warehouse
A vacation in Dominica will not be complete without spending the entire evening in this joint. Almost adjacent to the airport, this place screams to be checked out. People swarm here especially during Saturdays, dancing to reggae, disco, techno and many other music genres. Aside from this, the place is also historical. It is a 200-year-old structure that used to be a rum store.
Symes Zee's
As weird as the name may sound, this place is popular especially to jazz-loving guests. it is the home of the island's legendary blues guy, Symes Zee. Reggae, blues, and jazz are regularly played here by local bands. However, this joint is more popular for their offering of genuine, reasonably priced, Cuban cigar.
