Chile Nightlife |
Nightlife in Chile is not entirely about an evening of dancing, and getting drunk or tipsy. This Southern country is under a sky that is full of stars the moment the sun goes down. Thus, the best nightlife activity is actually stargazing.
The constellations
Tourists who come to Chile are almost always looking forward to see the popular Southern Cross. Lying under the dark sky of Chile, the Southern Cross may easily be seen. It is a perfect-crossed shape constellation that has been used by sailors to navigate in the seas during the days of yore.
Aside from this, Orion is also present in the Chilean sky. His belt is of course, the very first thing to see, then comes his body and legs.
Nightclubs
Bars and nightclubs exist in Chile but they are sparse as compare to Brazil. The country is a good host to people looking for peace and quiet. However, for those persistent clubbers, a joint to check would be La Cueva del Chivato, which offers nightly live music, ice cold drinks, and a lively crowd. Another bar is Boomerang Bar, which is an Australian bar that serves great tasting food, both traditional Chilean and western in palate.
