Visa to Asia is highly dependent on the country to be visited. There are countries with governments who are lenient enough to allow entry and stay for a limited number of days without visa. Southeast Asian countries give citizens of nations within the same region this privilege. Singaporeans are allowed to enter and stay in the Philippines without visa for not more than 30 days. Indonesians as well as Malaysians may visit Hong Kong without the hassle of applying for visa. Americans and Europeans are also allowed to enter these countries without visa. The most common destination in Asia that needs visa whatever the nationality of the prospective visitor is China. Without visa China's doors are shut for travelers no matter how interested they are in the country.
