The cuisine of Asia may be divided into four different types. The cooking of East Asia includes the national dishes of China its neighboring countries, Japan, and the Korean peninsula. These are known as colorful foods made with noodles and vegetables, a very healthy treat for exhausted travelers to boot.
While Eastern Asia's cooking is largely out of fresh leaves and dough, Southeast Asian dishes, encompassing Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, and Thailand, are characterized by flavorful meals made of different kinds of meat and vegetables, usually served with rice.
Going further low to South Asia, the countries Burma, India, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan, are known to serve hot and spicy. Both dough and rice are staple foods, commonly completed with a variety of curry and tea.
Almost the same is the case with Central Asian countries. The nomads who travel from one fertile land to another are known to prepare foods out of their livestock and the few crops they manage to harvest. These are very creative dishes, sometimes even more unique than the ones offered by settled countries.
For a traveler who wishes to be satisfied by tasting all the different flavors of the world in one place, Asia is the best place to tour. It has the most colorful food, prepared and served in the continent's unique way.
