Nightlife in Africa is unlike other continents' nightlife. It does not typically involve bars, clubs, or pubs (although they exist in the country). The nightlife this continent is proud of pertains to nocturnal animal-watching, camping on the plains, and sleeping under the stars. The parks in this continent remain open even at night. They welcome guests interested to mingle with nature in the wee hours. Tourists are given the option to stay in hides, where they can discreetly observe animal activities, or to camp out in the middle of a vast plain, campfires and all. They may also lay down quietly on their hotel beds and be lulled by the sound of crickets, and evening birds.
