Vietnam Good to know |
Vietnam is rapidly becoming one of the tourist magnets in Asia. Its agricultural lands which are a luscious green under the after-rain sunshine are a spectacle to behold especially for foreigners. For these reasons tourism in the country is also fast becoming a good business that entails specific laws. One of these laws is regarding the requirement of visa to some nationals of certain countries. For citizens of Asean countries, Korea, Japan, and Scandinavians this law do not generally apply. They can enter Vietnam and stay for no longer than 30 days without any visa. However, for other countries an entry visa is necessary.
In order to acquire Vietnamese tourist visa, interested persons are asked to submit an original passport, one completed visa application form, one passport size photo, and a visa fee to the nearest consulate of embassy in their country. After the submission of the said documents, the application will be processed and the applicant shall have to wait a few days for the issuance. Upon issuance, the visa holder may now enter Vietnam and stay longer than 30 days without any worries.
