Vietnam Good to know |
Knowing its history is not unusual for a person to think that Vietnam's nightlife cannot equal that of other countries'. This may be so but it does not mean that it is actually far off the other of the list. In fact, Vietnam's night life is surprisingly outstanding.
Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) and Hanoi are the two prominent areas in the country when it comes to clubs, bars, and other entertainment establishment. The skyscrapers that line these cities house some of the most famous joints where people can enjoy themselves to the break of dawn. Saigon Saigon, a restaurant bar that serve traditional Vietnamese cooking and the Blue Gecko Bar, which features good music are only two of the hottest spots where people can party the night away. For those looking for a more quiet entertainment, the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre is also an excellent site to mark a night. The puppeteers conducting the shows are certified world class. Both young and old can enjoy the presentation that speaks not only of the showmanship but also of culture.
