Culture in UAE is a grouping of traditional Arab ways, and Islamic. Its core values are almost the same with other Arab and Islamic nations. Men are supposed to respect and treat women right, family and its honor is of utmost importance, and women should always practice modesty and decency. Besides these values the country is also known put high respects to its religion, which is predominantly Muslim. Most etiquettes and customs of the country are based on it.
Some of these customs are particular on dress code celebrations. For women, the dress code is abaya, black overcoat for covering the body. For men it is called kandura or an ankle-length woolen or cotton white shirt.
In terms of celebration, most festivals are religious in nature. The holidays are Ramadan and other eid days.
