Malaysia's public washrooms ("tandas awam" in the local language) are generally clean and safe to use. Just equip yourself with sanitary wipes, alcohol and tissue paper if you are extra hygienic. The charges usually range from RM .20 to RM 2.00 (US$ .05 to .50).
