There's a turtle conservation area north of Juara Beach in Pulau Tioman. If you're lucky, you may see about a hundred baby turtles crawling their way to the sea!
Be careful, though, when walking near the hatchery as the beach here is full of shallow-water corals and could be painful for bare feet. It's nice to snorkel here, though, as the corals are full of little salmons, anchovies, and colorful baby fish. You might be able to swim with little turtles too!
If you wouldn't be able to see the turtles, don't fret because Juara Beach is beautiful in itself. Juara has rivers flowing from mountains, delivering cool freshwater into the beach. You can experience this cool water at the rivers' mouth at the south of the beach.
The south of the beach also has a marked path pointing to the jungle waterfalls, where you can swim or climb on large rocks. There's a saying in Tioman that you haven't been into Tioman if you did not climb on these rocks. The lagoon is a 30-minute walk from the beach. The path going there is an easy walk because of the cemented road.
