Malaysia Good to know |
Being predominantly a Muslim country, people may think that Malaysia's nightlife is dull and stale. Contrary to this, though, the nightlife in the country, especially in Kuala Lumpur, is very much alive. Discos, nightclubs, drinking pubs and other entertainment joints are packed with locals, expats, and tourists every night. Slippery Senoritas is only one of the clubs that feature live bands and ice cold drinks. Benson & Hedges is another spot for the people who love dancing and partying. For those who are culturally inclined, there are hotels that feature the Dyak Tribal Dance. And for the shopaholics, the Malaysian Pasar Malam (night market) is open to offer souvenirs, gadgets and trinkets. Hawkers also surround this market for a gastronomic delight after a walk along the line of stalls.
