Found in the town of Ban That, which literally translates to stupa village, is the That Ing Hang Stupa.
Stupas are massive Buddhist monuments that were built in order to commemorate certain events and locations. They are always interesting to see and the That Ing Hang Stupa is no exemption. This stupa was built in order to commemorate the area it is on since it was one of Buddha's stops during his wanderings 2,500 years ago.
From afar, you can marvel at the height and beauty of the stupa's obelisk and overall architecture. But as you come up close, you can notice small details which add to the stupa's grandeur.
