Hong Kong Disneyland
Managed by Hong Kong International Theme Parks in cooperation with Walt Disney, the Hong Kong Disneyland is the first theme park to be constructed in the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. It is the fifth ever Disneyland which opened in September 12, 2005.
Among the five Disneyland theme parks, the one in Hong Kong is the smallest among all of them. It has fallen short of their target number of visitors per day. They only had 5.2 million visitors in its first year and the target was 5.6 million. It fell by 20% the following year which resulted in criticism. Fortunately, the number increased by the third year.
Covering 310 acres of land, Hong Kong Disneyland offers entertainment for the whole family. More attractions are planned for the following years.
