Although colonized for over 24 years, the country of East Timor is not far in the list of Asian countries with very lively nightlife. Bars lining the side-streets of Dili are filled with locals, expats, and tourists craving for a whole night of partying. Clubs like Castaway Bar and Carlos, an open-air disco, are where it is all happening. The hippest men and the hottest women go clubbing in these places. Other bars like Aajs, Caz Bar, and Poy Cholor are also swarmed by the night people because of an offering of cool songs played live or mixed by world class djs.
