Who may enter Colombia without visa?
Nationals of Andorra, Antigua & Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, France, and Greece may enter the country even without visa. Holders of Grenadan, Guatemalan, Guyanan, Dutch, Honduras, Iceland, Indonesian, Israeli, Italian, Jamaican, Japanese, Korean (Rep), Liechtenstein, Lithuanian, Luxembourg, Malaysian, Malta, and Mexican passport may also come to the country without visa. Even nationals of Monaco, Norway, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, The Philippines, Portugal, San Marino, Slovak Republic, Spain, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent & the Grenadines, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, UK, Uruguay, USA, and Venezuela may freely come to the country without visa. Beyond these countries, visa is required before entry.
Visa Application
Colombian visa application may be transacted at any embassy or consulate near the residence of the applicant. Necessary documents must be submitted for the application to be processed.
Required Documents
The documents that must be submitted when applying for a Colombian visa are a valid passport, two fully-filled out application form, onward and return ticket, proof of sufficient funds, invitation letter, and a visa fee.
Issuance
Visa process period is dependent on the nationality of the applicant. However, the typical period is five days. The issued document will be valid for at least three months from the date of issuance.
