To enter the developing country of Angola visa is a mandatory requirement. There are no provisions as regards the exemptions or visa upon arrival. Any aspiring tourist will have to apply for visa in his home country prior to the planned trip.
The general requirements when applying for an Angolan tourist visa are a passport that is valid three months beyond intended stay, tickets or documents for return or onward travel, visa fee, and a proof of vaccination for yellow fever. At times the consulate also requires proof of a hotel booking and proof of sufficient funds.
After submitting these documents, the process will take a couple of days before issuance. Upon issuance the visa will be valid for three months from the day of issue.
