ATM machines
As in all trips money is necessary. Some travelers carry around cards for any purchase during a tour. However, in Venezuela ATM machines are in a way dysfunctional. Many of the cards are not honored. Thus, it is better to carry around cash rather than cards. By having cash around, you have an assurance that any probable purchase will be paid fully.
Cold bus rides
Although it may sound very primitive, riding regular buses in Venezuela is indeed very cold. Thus, tourists who plan to take the bus from one city to another; it is advised to carry a jacket and other garments that can lessen the cold.
Warm weather
Venezuela is a hot country. Therefore tourists, especially those coming from cold countries are advised to have water around at all times. The heat can cause heat stroke and dehydration, and having water anytime can lessen prevent this.
