Due to having no natives and being a territory of the British, South Georgia and Sandwich Islands' cuisine does not have its own identity. Most dishes are similar to those of the mother country's. Even the cooking techniques mirror that of Britain. However, due to the difference in the environment, the ingredients of the dishes vary. Some are not readily available in the islands.
