Middle East Nightlife |
Nightlife in the Middle East may not be as striking as the western idea of nightlife. Despite this, the countries have their own ways of spending extras hours before retiring to their bedrooms. Though taverns and clubs do not line the streets of the cities of the countries, the international hotels where most tourists stay have their bars in which parties are held nightly. There are also small establishments that serve traditional night drinks which are not forbidden unlike beer and other hard liquors. Aside from this, there are theaters that show traditional dances and songs which not only help boost the nightlife of the cities but also the culture of the country.
Travelers must note that even if the countries do not have beers and hard drinks, they serve shishas or water bongs with which you can smoke guilt-free as it is said to have stronger filter than usual cigarette sticks.
