A tropical climate envelopes Micronesia all-year-round. The temperatures are warm and even all throughout the year, so light clothing is typically advised. Ironically, the heaviest rains and most violent typhoons come during summer (June to November). In Pohnpei, the rains come almost every day as it is among the wettest places in the planet.
