There is no certain weather in Kenya. The temperature, humidity, and amount of rainfall are largely affected by the geography the country has. Despite this, there are still four identifiable weather zones.
For primers, the west of Kenya is mostly hot and rainy throughout the year. April is the wettest month in this area and the driest is January. Temperatures here can go as low as 14 degrees Celsius or as high as 36 degrees Celsius.
Second, central Kenya, has the most moderate weather. The temperature in this region has a minimum of 10 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 28 degrees Celsius. Rainy season is classified into two, the long rains season (March to early June), and the short rains season (October to late November).
While the central Kenya has the best climate, the northern and eastern is perhaps the most unlucky region. These are the bushland areas, the semiarid region. Temperature here can soar up to 40 degrees Celsius and drop to 20 degrees by nightfall. There is a scarcity of rain and once it occurs, it comes in the form of violent storms. July is declared the driest month and November the wettest in this side of Kenya.
The fourth and last zone in Kenya is the coastal region. It has a consistent humid feel and its rainfall is dependent on the monsoon. The average temperature here ranges from 22 to 30 degrees Celsius every year.
