Necessity to adapt with the environment resulted to a very diverse culture in Kenya. The people from the north lead a pastoral life as it is what may be supported by the gifts of the highlands. On the other hand, the people on the coastal areas are fisher folks who live through the blessing of the surrounding waters. In the middle of these two, the central regions also have their own way of living. Thus, there is no one description to identify the culture of Kenya.
Despite this, there remain elements which make the country an excellent place for a trip, first of all, the Kenyan mode of dressing. Although the country still has not decided on its national dress, seeing the colorful traditional outfits of different tribes is like watching a fashion show. Second is the music. Just like the other aspects of culture, music in this country is also numerous and varying for every ethnicity. The majority, however, is a kind of afro-fusion and benga music. A third factor that shows the diversity of the culture of Kenya is the theatre. The stories of plays depend highly on the ethnicity of the writer.
Despite the many differences of the culture, Kenyan citizens remain a united flock under one nation.
