Despite the numerous travel dangers the country possesses, there are still people who aspire to have a feel of Iraqi sand under their feet. However, entering the country is not as easy as picturing a good vacation in the desert. Almost all countries are required to have a passport and visa upon arrival. Without the visa, one cannot enter Iraq nor stay in it. The countries which have a visa-free travel are only very few. Even major European and American nationals need to present a visa.
The requirements for a visa to Iraq are one valid signed passport with at least six months validity, three visa application form, fully filled, and three passport-type photos. After a few days, the visa may be obtained. This frees the person and technically permits him to stay longer as desired.
