If you are a Portuguese, you can enter East Timor just by having your passport alone. You will be given a free permit allowing you to stay for up to 90 days. If you have to stay longer, you can check out the Immigration Department of Timor Leste’s website (http://migracao.gov.tl/) to know what the government requires for you to acquire a visa.
