Qi Pao - "Also known as "Cheongsam"; A traditional one-piece garment worn by Chinese women."
The Great Hall of the People in Beijing is the center for the legislative and ceremonial activities of the Communist Party of China. It functions as the parliament building. It is host to the liang hui or the two meetings wherein the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the National People's Congress meet for two to three weeks. Every five years, the Great Hall of the People is also the venue for the Communist Party of China to hold its National Congress. This venue is open to the public when there is no session on going and cameras are allowed. Concerts and other non-political events have also been held in the Great Hall of the People in recent years.
