Most islands of the Caribbean require visa from in-coming visitors. Only a few countries, usually European ones, are exempted from this rule. They are given an almost thirty-day stay in either of the islands even without visa. For those who are not exempted, a visa must be applied for prior to the visit
Application requirements
Typical documents that must be submitted when applying for visa to any of the Caribbean islands are a passport with at least six months validity and free visa pages, a fully-filled out application form, a visa fee, and at times a certificate of vaccination.
Where to apply
All visa applications must be transacted in the consulate or embassy of the island desired to be visited. Together with the visa fee, all required documents must be submitted to this agency.
Validity of the document
Visa processing usually takes a few weeks. The issued document will be valid for up to thirty to sixty days from the date of issuance.
