While Bhutan is beautiful all-year-round, travelers may want to avoid August as it is monsoon season. Peak season is in the springtime, during the months of March, April and May. The flora and fauna are at their best in this time. Many visitors also flock to the country come autumn in September, October and November, when a lot of local festivals occur.
