The culture of Bermuda shows the culture of the native inhabitants namely, African and European. There are also a few Asians who settled in the island and contributed a share of their culture. This resulted to a very unique culture. For instance, wearing shorts under coat and tie is the typical formal wear in this country, while in others it may be considered taboo. Aside from a unique dress code, the people of Bermuda are known to be very conservative and very much concerned with etiquette. They are strict in following rules and are in love with elegance and ceremonies. Despite this custom, Bermudians have open minds and are very welcoming of new and eccentric ideas. This is one of the reasons why it is frequently visited.
