When planning a visit to Benin, it is best to go in the months of December to April. By coming in these months, tourist may avoid the rainy season, which ruins chances for outdoor tour activities. However, this is not the perfect time for visiting coastal areas. The best time for this is late July up to early September. These are months with cool and dry weather, fit for walks along shores.
