Citizens of most nations in every continent are required to have visa before entering Benin. This follows that application for the document is necessary prior to the visit. To do this, documents like a passport, with a validity of at least six months, a completely filled out visa application form, one passport-type photo, an international certificate of vaccination for yellow fever, and a copy of round trip airline tickets or a letter of confirmation. These papers must be submitted to the Beninese consulate or embassy nearest to the residence of the applicant. Then, the applicant must wait for about three days for the issuance of the document.
