There is not much to worry about when coming to Aruba. The country is fairly safe. The only possible culprits for a ruined vacation are first, the wind. The country is known to be windy. It is used as natural dryers after coming from the waters, and also to ward off the heat. However, the wind can also become a problem, blowing sand-beads to your eyes nose and every other crevice in your body. Plus, the wind also prevents the hot feeling. Thus, even if the skin is already burning under the sun, it won't be noticed until perhaps when it is already red and painful.
The second one is the currents. The beaches of Aruba are lovely as is its reputation. However, it can also be dangerous. The currents can cause huge waves that can smash swimmers to rocks at sea edges or take you far from the seashore. Travelers are advised not to go to the water upon noticing rather suspicious waves.
Apart from these, the country is very safe. A vacation may be thoroughly enjoyed.
