As it is in Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda is equally gifted with enough resources such as seafood, meat and crops. This resulted to dishes with ingredients enough to give them superb taste and unique twist. Some of those that tourists must try during a visit are fungie and pepper pot, the country's national dish made from cornmeal, ducana or sweet potato dumpling, season rice, and saltfish and lobster. For desert, there are confectionaries like sugarcake, fudge, raspberry, tamarind stew, and peanut brittle.
